Winery Review:
Balanced and lightly creamy, offering pretty flavors of plum sauce and
raspberry coulis threaded with hints of ground spice. Elegant, with floral
finish. Drink now.
My Review: We
tried this wine a while ago. Having this wine now gave me an idea of how
quickly—and drastically—this particular wine ages. You can check out my other
review of this wine here. Back then, this wine seemed like a strawberry-banana
smoothie; young and bouncing around my palate. NOW, though, I detect more spice
and dark fruit. The palate gave way to raspberries and dark plums mixed with
the heat of a dash of cinnamon. On the finish I tasted white pepper and spice.
Interesting indeed.
